Baltimore based duo Dirt Platoon connect with French producer Kyo Itachi to release the album 'War Face'. Lord Quas' drops another project June 18th on Stones Throw Records. The record 'collects 12 tracks made by Madlib and Quasimoto over a roughly 12-year period. A few were released on rare and out-of-print vinyl, while a few others are previously unreleased or only on bootlegs. They are now mixed and mastered for the first time.' LP & CD come with a peel-off cover sticker revealing Quasimoto's guts; LP with bonus 7-inch single.

For the first time in nine years, R.A. The Rugged Man will release a studio album. 'Legends Never Die' will be issued on Nature Sounds Records, April 30th. Stylistically, R.A. revisits his 'Crustified Dibbs' era of the early '90s. The LP follows 'Die, Rugged Man, Die' and features Talib Kweli, Tech N9ne, Brother Ali, Masta Ace, Eamon, Hopsin, Vinnie Paz, Sadat X, Block McCloud, etc.
