What was the biggest moment of the year for you personally and in general?
Personally: marrying my beautiful wife in front of the whole New York City at Grand Central Station in September. And my homie J-Zone tearing shit down behind the decks at our reception. In general, my biggest moment would have to have been watching Obama give his acceptance speech.

Best album(s) of the year?
I didn't really like much of what came out this year as a whole except for Chief Chinchilla's joint and Guilty Simpson. I actually really loved that shit. There was also a lot I liked about the Snoop album and Wayne's album, but I can't really listen all the way through.
Best movie(s) of the year?
I was watching a whole lot of 'First 48' on TV! Haha... addictive as hell. As for the movies, I loved 'Step Brothers' since I'm a big fan of both those dudes, and I also watched the shit outta my 'Iron Man' and 'Baby Mama' DVD's (my wife put me onto that last one but you should really give it a chance because it's some funny shit!)
What do you wish for hip-hop in 2009?
I wish it would fuckin' brace itself for Reef the Lost Cauze & J.J. Brown.
What do you wish for the world in 2009?
I wish that this depressing ass economy would turn around. I'm a New Yorker, so your national news is my local news, and it's tough here right now.
What releases/projects can we expect from you (and yours) in the 2009?
Well I got two real big looks on my plate for 2009. My debut solo album which is almost finished will drop this summer, featuring my friends Poison Pen, Celph Titled, louis logic, Homeboy Sandman, Travis McCoy, Eternia and a slew of others. I'm also in pre-production for an album with Reef the Lost Cauze where we've created a total new sound together. Not just new for us but a new take on this music we all love so much. I could tell you what it is but I'd have to have Celph kill you. Haha. We're going into the studio starting in February and we're not coming out till we got a classic. So I got those two albums as well as all the one offs here and there. My team and I stay busy in the lab, and we keep rolling with the punches so I'm really proud to be a part of 5G and all it stands for. This industry is not the easiest thing to be a part of, especially when there is so much emotion involved since hip-hop is about much more than business to the true heads wrapped up in it. So the fact that the first product we ever had a hand in making, louis logic's 'Logistics 101' single, was ten years ago and we're still going strong and actually just coming into our own now is really something to feel good about. Fuck a setback, this is our year.
