What was the biggest moment of the
year for you personally?
I can't pinpoint just one moment. One of them definitely is working in St. Louis and helping folks get involved in civic participation and passing the raising of the minimum wage. Witnessing the release of our critically well-received 2nd LP, 'They Call Me Bruce' was pretty great also. Finally, I got some clarity on a few personal situations and I'm thankful for the joy and pain of it all. |

What was the biggest moment of the year
for you in general?
Just seeing folks I know personally do so well musically like Akir, Tanya Morgan, Sammy Bravo and ourselves (Dumhi). Also, having the opportunity to work alongside great talents like Trek Life, Red Giants and folks who appeared on the Dumhi joints. I'm so glad folks are humble enough to work with each other regardless of fame or glory. |

Best album(s) of the year?
Ghostface Killah 'Fishscale', Dumhi 'They Call Me Bruce' (not for nothing but I think it's a REALLY GOOD LP), Madlib 'The Beat Konducta: Movie Scenes Vol. 1 and 2'. I liked Tanya Morgan's joint and Trek Life's as well. It was a lot of good joints this year. |

Tanya Morgan, Tableek, Akir, Random, Red Giants, Che Grand, Spec Boogie, Elucid, Shameless Plug, Yes Yes Ya'lls, Signifire, Sammy Bravo, Bobby Nutz, Jaimz Wurthee..I'm missing some names I'm sure. |

'Little Miss Sunshine' stands out, 'X-Men 3' was ill, I can't recall anything else. |

What do you wish for hip-hop in 2007?
Basically to grow and sustain itself. It's in a great place right now on the independent side. Let's continue to foster the support for each other and not tear each other down critically. Instead of saying 'man he's wack'...try to help that person by telling them what they can do better. It's easy to ridicule, but it should be just as easy to prop someone up too. |

you (and yours) in the 2007?
2 new Dumhi EP projects, a Mash Comp mixtape primer, a Mash Comp solo EP or LP (depending on how lazy I'm not), a gang of collabs with some pretty heavy names and just GOOD MUSIC. |
